Chris Gosh has been the producer of stoner heroes, Kyuss, over the years of their career. There are many who claim that the thick sound of the mentioned, intoxicated, band is his creation. He also runs the act of Masters of Reality and is generally settled in the hearts of many fans as an important artist for this genre. Goon Moon is another musical project including Chris Goss and Jeordie White (aka Twiggy Ramirez, Marilyn Manson) in its line-up. Goss has also collaborated with various bands/artists so far and Queens of the Stone Age is one of them. “Licker’s Last Leg” music is made through a thick collection of influences and has especially been lent the latter style of genious Josh Homme’s main band. At least that’s how it sounds in my ears. It is mainly composed by some stable, slightly distorted guitar themes, short “joohoo” finger-clapping sounds, beautiful and harmonical vocal lines e.t.c. The artistic nourishment of the band is rock music mainly but they’ve implanted some pop melodies smartly. Goon Moon have created a record with nice songs. I’d recommend you all to listen to this in your car, especially if you have to take a long trip after an intoxicated night. That’s a really nice album anyway. Of course, it can’t reach the levels of QOTSA’s discography but it’s still going to please you. Viva Rock n’ Roll!
